Supporting people across the city to understand their health, navigate the services they need, and speak up for the care they deserve — because good health should never depend on your postcode.
Our Impact This Year
From helping a Lochee grandmother understand her new diabetes diagnosis, to supporting a young man in Menzieshill challenge an unfair benefit decision — our work is as varied as the people of Dundee itself.
For over a decade, Vibrant Health Advocates Dundee has been working in community centres, GP waiting rooms, housing estates, and hospital corridors to make sure that people in Dundee's most underserved neighbourhoods are never left to face complex health decisions alone.
We provide plain-language health education, one-to-one advocacy support, and community-led wellbeing programmes that meet people where they are, not where the system expects them to be. We are a small team with deep roots, and everything we do is shaped by the communities we serve.

We accompany people to medical appointments, help them prepare questions, and ensure their voices are heard by clinicians. No one should leave a consultation more confused than when they arrived.

We cover everything from managing long-term conditions to understanding prescriptions and rights within NHS Tayside.
